The Scooter Cannonball is a coast-to-coast scooter event. It Is a test of both rider and machine. (In 2018 the run covered 3,900 miles, and we did that in 10 days. The route for 2018 started at Morro Bay, California, and went all the way to Virginia Beach, Virginia.)
Riders are awarded points based on their ability to ride and navigate their scooter to predefined checkpoints daily. They must get a time-stamped photo of that checkpoint, and gather their points at the end of the day.
I've ridden and loved motorcycles & scooters for decades and am a daily commuter in Los Angeles. My YouTube videos cover mods, riding with Gizmo Biker Dog & more.
My Scooter Cannonball goal is simply to make it across in one piece, whether I ranked top or bottom. You have to have just enough wacky doodle crazy pants action to do this thing.

"It was a surprise that he had a regulator and was willing to help," March says – forum members are amazing."
With the regulator installed, March says, she rode away and "wept tears of joy and sang lyrics from David Bowie’s song "Heroes": 'We could be heroes ... just for one day...'”
If you're unfamiliar with WMS, it's a show that's all about women and motorcycling, in all aspects—from custom builds to artwork and more. Some women wrench, some women ride, some women race—and all of these women are doing just what they want with their bikes.
